A particular concern for us in our work in Austria and the provinces are chronically and seriously ill children for whom we make possible the provision of services at home. But disabled children also need our help. Help for citizens in distress, support for families and older people who need us to manage their everyday lives and projects for young people who have problems learning or finding their way in life are also very important for us. People of all generations need help sometimes. And we are there for them.
With our work in international crisis regions relief for children in distress (such as the children's cancer clinic in Belarus and children's homes in the Republic of Moldova) is especially important, as are projects in the area of reconstruction and development cooperation in Africa, Asia and Latin America (such as the Austrian Phuket Community Center after the tsunami disaster). Helping people help themselves is our goal. And that's what we do. For a little more humanity in our world.
